• How do I schedule?

• When are classes held?

• The First Flight Experience class is held on Saturdays, with ground school in the morning from 9 AM to noon, followed by flight lessons in the afternoon. While you are waiting for your slot, you'll have the opportunity to fly our flight simulator!

• Where do I go?

• We are in the biggest hangar at the Placerville Airport - 3501 Airport Road, Placerville, CA 95667. Look for the signs pointing to 'Placerville Aviation'.

• I really get to fly?

• Yes, you do! Our certificated flight instructors will assist you in learning the fundamentals of flying an airplane, and you'll be doing almost all of the piloting!

• What will I learn during ground school?

• Our ground school is designed to give you a general overview of everything you wanted to learn about aviation and more! We'll cover what makes airplanes fly, how to become a pilot, and different pilot careers! Feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like. Our instructors are very knowledgeable and experienced, and our 3-hour ground school is very in-depth and hands on.

• What happens if it rains or the weather is poor?

• We'll still run the ground school and will reschedule flights for the next day, or another time that works for your schedule.

• What do I need to bring?

• Bring a jacket, sunglasses, and a pack lunch or money to use for lunch.

• Will my flight time count toward my pilot's license?

• Yes, in fact you will receive your very own logbook with your flight time endorsed by your flight instructor.
